Alpa Care is a private, bespoke and individual, focused homecare service providing care to individuals and couples. We want carers who share our ethos to join us.
Our carers undergo regular coronavirus testing and all staff are provided with lateral flow testing kits. Our carers will also carry out regular testing of individuals who receive care. Our carers are specifically trained by myself to record oxygen levels using a finger SATs probe and to carry out regular temperature checks.
Our carers are focused on keeping you safe. They will support individuals or couples throughout their home and prevent any injuries such as falls. Our care professionals are highly trained by our training partners and myself in particular to focus on your bespoke care plans. This is to ensure that you live a wholesome and fulfilling life.
Our carers are selected carefully through robust checks and rigorous training.
Our carers share my values of having a keen interest in you. They provide companionship, good company and engaging conversation. They will support you with your day to day activities, help you with shopping and daily walks for example. We can discuss taking on new hobbies that would suit your interests.
Our carers help with household chores, which includes cleaning and any other chores that would support you. We place a particular emphasis on cleaning surfaces, door handles, the kitchen bathroom.
Our carers provide personal care, which is a regulated activity. We place particular focus that significant care and attention is provided to you with regards to washing, bathing, assistance to using the bathroom and help with mobilising. Personal care is highly bespoke to your needs based on your preferences and what you can and cannot do. We ensure that you are always treated with respect and dignity.
Our carers will be trained in food hygiene and will be competent in meal preparation which will be bespoke towards individual needs. Carers will work with individuals and their families can assure that the quality and food and nutrition are appropriate.
Our carers are trained in first-aid and in the event of any situation arising they will be able to contact 24-hour support. The 24 hour support is shared between the registered care manager and my colleague who is the service manager.
